Guides & tips
View all →Thermal transfer is the choice when a label has to last. The ink comes from a ribbon and bonds to the label, so it won't fade with heat or light and it stands up to rubbing far better than direct thermal.
We make these labels in coated paper for logistics and warehouse use, polypropylene for damp and chilled conditions, and white or silver polyester for rating plates, asset tags and industrial marking. Size, core and unwind direction are matched to your printer.
Pick the ribbon to suit the material: wax for paper, wax-resin as an all-rounder, resin for polyester and harsh environments. Tell us your printer and application and we'll recommend the right label and ribbon pairing.
