Description

Roll of 1,500 direct thermal labels, 40 x 30 mm, on top-coated thermal paper. They print without a ribbon, using the heat of the print head; the protective top coat reduces scratching and the effect of moisture. Permanent adhesive, 40 mm core, wound outside.

Compatibility

For desktop direct thermal printers that take a 40 mm core, including Zebra desktop models. Check that your printer's print width covers 40 mm.

Which printer do I need for 40 x 30 mm thermal labels?

A 2-inch (about 50–56 mm print width) or 4-inch direct thermal printer. The roll is on a 40 mm core, wound out, and works with most desktop printers (Zebra, TSC, Godex, Honeywell…).

How many 40 x 30 mm labels are on a roll?

Each roll holds 1,500 labels. On Amazon the size comes in packs of 1, 3, 5 or 8 rolls.

Do I need an ink ribbon?

No. These are direct thermal labels on top-coated paper: the print head's heat does the printing, with no ribbon or ink.
