Blank rolls for your label printer
Blank roll labels arrive unprinted: you add text, barcodes, batch codes and dates with your own label printer. For durable results, thermal transfer is used – a ribbon transfers ink onto the label, which then resists rubbing, light and time far better than direct thermal labels.
Materials
- Semi-gloss paper: the standard thermal transfer face stock for product, carton and logistics labels.
- Polypropylene (PP): synthetic, water and tear resistant; we make blank PP in any size.
- Silvermat: matt silver polypropylene for rating plates and technical marking – see silver labels.
- Coloured paper: for colour coding, sorting and stock rotation.
Adhesive is permanent as standard; removable adhesive is available on request.

FAQ
What is the difference between blank thermal transfer labels and direct thermal labels?
Direct thermal labels darken with heat and need no ribbon. Blank thermal transfer labels are printed with a ribbon, so the print lasts longer and stands up to handling.
Do you make blank polypropylene labels?
Yes. Blank PP is made in any size, with permanent or, on request, removable adhesive.
What do you need to quote blank roll labels?
Material, label size, core diameter, winding direction and quantity. If you don't know the core size, give us your printer model.
Will the rolls fit a Zebra printer?
Yes, as long as the core and width match your model. Our standard rolls use a 40 mm core.
